Wall ovens and cooktops have to fit their cut-outs exactly and connect to the right circuit. We fit single and double wall ovens, oven-microwave combos, built-in microwaves, and electric, induction and gas cooktops, then test every element and burner before we leave.

Wall ovens and combos

  • Old oven disconnected and removed (and taken away if you ask)
  • New oven lifted into the cut-out by two people, connected, secured to the cabinet and squared up
  • Single, double and oven-microwave combo units, plus speed ovens and steam ovens built into a cabinet column
  • Every element, the convection fan and the door seal checked before we go

Cooktops

  • Electric, induction and gas cooktops dropped into the counter cut-out, sealed and secured with the maker's clips
  • Connected to the existing junction box or gas shut-off, then every element or burner tested
  • Gas cooktops: Gas hookups available where an existing gas line and shut-off are in place

Before install day

  • Power: an existing outlet or junction box on the right circuit must be in place. Double wall ovens and many induction cooktops need a 40 A circuit or more. If yours isn't there, that's electrician work, and we'll flag it when we quote.
  • Cut-outs: check the new unit's cut-out size against your cabinet or counter. If it's different, cabinet or counter changes are quoted before we start or done by your cabinet maker.
  • Gas: Gas hookups available when an existing gas line and shut-off are already in place.

Wall oven and cooktop FAQ

How much does wall oven installation cost?

A wall oven starts at $275, labour only, plus HST, depending on single or double and the cut-out. Text a photo and the model number for an exact price.

My new wall oven is a different size from the old one. Can you still install it?

Often, yes. Send both model numbers. If the cabinet cut-out needs changing, we'll quote that before we start, or your cabinet maker can do it.

Does a double wall oven need a special circuit?

Many do. Check the install guide for the amperage. If your circuit doesn't match, an electrician needs to update it before install day.

Can you install an induction cooktop?

Yes. Induction cooktops often need a 40 A circuit. We connect to the existing junction box if it's the right size. Electric or induction cooktops start at $215, labour only, plus HST.

Can you install a cooktop above a wall oven?

Yes, if both makers allow that combination. We check the clearances in both install guides.

Do you install gas cooktops?

Yes. Gas hookups available where an existing gas line and shut-off are in place. Gas cooktops start at $275, labour only, plus HST.

Do you take the old oven or cooktop away?

Yes. Ask when you book. Removal starts at $70 per unit and includes disposal.
